Director of Vodacom Business

Videsha spearheads the enterprise strategy, accelerating growth to position Vodacom Business as the premier digital transformation partner for corporate clients. A veteran of the technology sector, Videsha previously served as CEO and Chairperson of the Board at LexisNexis for South and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her extensive executive background includes roles as EMEA Strategy Director at Intel Corporation and Partner Group Manager at Microsoft South Africa. Videsha holds an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma from UKZN, alongside executive leadership credentials from Harvard Business School and GIBS.
 

 

Abdul Mirza

Executive: Business Transformation

Abdul is the Senior Leader of Business Transformation and Strategy at Vodacom Business. He shapes the organisation’s long-term direction, driving the operating model evolution critical for Vodacom’s transition into a leading TechCo. With a background at Accenture Strategy, Abdul combines deep technical expertise with enterprise-level strategic design. His work focuses on enabling scalable platform-led growth, strengthening organisational capabilities, and building systems that accelerate value realisation. Recognised with multiple industry awards, including a Vodacom Business Director’s Award, he brings scientific rigor to complex transformations. Abdul holds a PhD in Quantum Information Processing from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.


 

Ismail Gani

Managing Executive: Indirect Sales

With over 24 years of commercial and ICT experience, he has successfully transformed the channel from a mobile-first segment into a leading integrated ICT service provider. Ismail has held various senior finance and sales roles at Vodacom, delivering strategic turnaround projects, and previously served as CFO at a key Vodacom subsidiary. Prior to Vodacom, he was a Senior Manager at Deloitte. As an alumnus of the Vodacom Advanced Executive Programme – a prestigious employee development program run by Vodacom in partnership with the Wits Business School - Ismail is also a recipient of the prestigious Vodacom CEO Award. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) having completed his degree at the Wits University.

Kgabo Seopa

Managing Executive: Products and Solutions

Kgabo, in partnership with Abdul, is pioneering the strategic shift within Vodacom Business from a Telco to a TechCo. With over 23 years of experience, he drives sustainable growth across Cloud, Hosting, Security, and Digital Services across Africa. Previously, KG held senior leadership roles at Huawei across 27 Sub-Saharan countries and played a pivotal market-building role at HPE Aruba Networks. His background spans Cisco, Nokia, and Internet Solutions. KG holds an MBA from Wits Business School, a Bachelor of Computer Science and Mathematics from Wits University, and the prestigious industry CCIE certification from Cisco.

Martha Lamola

Operations Director: Vodacom Ventures

A Chartered Accountant and Engineer, Martha brings over 25 years of experience in finance and technical operations. Since joining Vodacom in 2016, she has held critical roles, including Managing Executive for Finance Business Partnering, driving commercial discipline and anti-fragile enterprise strategies. She also served as Global Head of Finance for Vodafone Business Platforms and Solutions in the UK and sits on multiple subsidiary boards. Martha holds dual engineering and finance qualifications, including an Executive Programme Certificate from Harvard Business School.

Mncedisi Mayekiso

Managing Executive: Direct Sales

Mncedisi brings extensive expertise in cloud technology and business transformation. Previously the CEO of CloudNext, his career features key sales leadership roles at IBM, Microsoft, and Dimension Data, alongside experience as a board director for a JSE-listed TechCo. Known for his commercial acumen and Mergers & Acquisitions experience, he drives sales growth across telecommunications, finance, and the public sector. An award-winning leader and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) member, Mncedisi holds an MBA from Cass Business School (UK) and executive qualifications from GIBS and Singularity University. He is a recognised speaker championing economic transformation.

Peter Malebye

His distinguished career includes leadership roles at industry giants such as Accenture, Alcatel, MTN, Absa, Nokia, and BCX. Peter excels in defining new business models, strategic product development, and complex solution integration. Known for his exceptional adaptability and profit-and-loss accountability, he brings unparalleled expertise in customer analytics, financial modeling, and strategic formulation to drive Vodacom’s connected digital ecosystem.

Sannesh Beharie

Managing Executive: SME Propositions and Sales

Sannesh is the Managing Executive for the SME segment at Vodacom Business and founding member of the recently established Vodacom Business advisory board. With over 16 years of experience in fixed and mobile telecommunications, he specialises in sales, business development, and product strategy for enterprise and consumer markets. Previously, Sannesh established and led the SME business unit across 19 markets for MTN, significantly advancing their regional revenue strategy. He also spearheaded the launch of MTN SuperSonic, driving their fixed broadband agenda. Sannesh holds an MBA from Wits University and a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Takalani Mavhunga

Managing Executive: Business Operations and Delivery

Takalani brings over 24 years of deep expertise in the ICT sector. He is instrumental in driving Vodacom Business’ strategic goals through executive leadership, technology innovation, and rigorous business development. Prior to this role, Takalani served as the Chief Financial Officer at Nexio, a key Vodacom subsidiary, where he ensured financial stability and operational continuity. His focus is on leading digital transformation initiatives and delivering innovative, highly reliable technology solutions to enterprise customers across South Africa.
