How to top up your VodaPay Vending balance to start selling

Value-Added Services (VAS) such as prepaid airtime, prepaid electricity, and accepting DStv and EasyPay payments are quick and easy to offer on your VodaPay Kwika or Max card machine. 

Follow these simple steps to top up your balance and start selling today! 

Remember: What you top up, you can sell! We don’t charge any fees to top up your VAS balance. Start selling Value-Added Services to your customers today and enjoy the benefits of a seamless vending experience.

 

Step 1: Get our EasyPay number

Before you can load funds into your vending balance, you'll need your unique EasyPay (EP) number. 

Here's how to find it on different VodaPay card machine:

For VodaPay Max card machines:

  1. Select “Reports”: Enter your admin details to continue.
  2. Select “EP Number” from the list of reports.
  3. Print your slip with the EP number and barcode. Take this to a retail store to top up your balance.
     

For VodaPay Kwika card machines:  

  1. From the home screen, press the F2 button and select “Admin”.
  2. Select “Report” and then “VAS Report”. Enter your admin password to continue.
  3. Select the “EP Number” report and write down the provided number starting with 92187.

Step 2: Topping up your balance

Once you have your EP number, you can top up your balance through various convenient methods:

Using the VodaPay App

  1. Download the VodaPay app: Scan the provided QR code with your phone's camera or download it here. VodaPay QR Code

    Or download it for your device: VodaPay SuperApp;

  2. Link your debit or credit card to complete the top-up.
  3. Under the “Recharge & Pay Bill” section on the home page, click on "EasyPay" and make a payment to top up your balance from the comfort of your home.
     

Please Note: *Funds can take up to 2 hours to reflect on your balance.

At Retail Stores
You can also top up at any of the following retail stores. All you need to do is to provide your EP number starting with “92187” and indicate with the cashier you’re paying for an EasyPay Bill:

  • Boxer
  • Pick ‘n Pay
  • Spar
  • Ackermans
  • Game
  • Makro 
  • Woolworths

     

For Capitec Banking customers

  1. Log into your banking app.
  2. Click on Transact.
  3. Click on “Pay Bills”.
  4. Select or search for “Vodacom Payment Services”.
  5. Enter your EP number and click on confirm.
  6. Review the details and click “Pay now” to top up your balance
     

Using the EasyPay website 

  1. Go to www.easypay.co.za.
  2. Click on the register button and complete the process.
  3. Once successfully registered, click on “Pay a Bill” and then “EasyPay Bill”.
  4. Enter your 92187 EP number and provide a reference, which can be any text.
  5. Click the “Add” button so you can easily make a payment in the future.
  6. Enter the amount to top up and click on “Proceed”.
  7. Select the method of payment (we recommend debit/credit card).
  8. Enter your card details and click “Proceed”.
  9. You will receive confirmation of the balance top-up.
