Education Bundles (VPN & Anytime Data Bundles)
VPN
Allows the user access to corporate sites from an offsite location with the same access they would have as if they were logged into a network that is available onsite. Data can be sent & received so changes are recorded in real time and reflect across all systems.
EduBundle (VPN)
These are data bundles that are used to access specific sites eligible through the VPN. The educational institution(s) controls the VPN sites.

In light of the COVID 19 crisis, there is an urgent need for Virtual Learning solutions for universities. Educational institutions wish to enable students to study remotely, at no additional cost to the student.

Equipment Requirement
EduBundle (VPN)
Some institutions require the student to first download their VPN application. Once the student has been indemnified to use the VPN, and the EduBundle (VPN) has been activated, the student will be able to access relevant sites.
Each MSISDN which is provided by the institution will receive a 30 day bundle which will assist them to remain connected and facilitate their learning requirements during the COVID-19 disaster period
Students will receive a data allocation to enable them to study from home.
The bundle will consist of an anytime data allocation and a Night Owl allocation.
This data will be allocated upon receiving their details from the institution and is allocated at no charge to the student, valid for 30 days from allocation.
To ensure that students receive this data allocation, their Vodacom phone number must be updated as part of their student record with the university, so that it is part of the list of students supplied to Vodacom.
The institution will be billed on 1 MSISDN which is provided by the Account Manager for all bundles provisioned during the month.
The invoice will reflect one line item per bundle size.
