As Africa continues with its rapid digital transformation, the attack surface expands, driven by increased mobile subscriptions and internet penetration. This trend makes African countries more susceptible to cybercrime.

From national policies to corporate frameworks and public awareness, comprehensive cyber security strategies are critical for building resilience against increasingly sophisticated attacks.

Compliance with regulations like South Africa’s POPIA and the EU’s GDPR is vital. These frameworks help organisations protect sensitive data and maintain trust through stringent security measures.
