Red Business + VodaPay 30th birthday promotion
Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion (the “Promotion”) where customers are eligible for added value when purchasing selected qualifying deals and propositions from 07 June 2024 to 31 December 2024.
- These terms and conditions shall govern your participation in the Promotion.
Duration
- The Promotion will run from from 09h00 on 07 June 2024 to 31 December 2024
- The duration of the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
Eligibility and Participation
- To qualify for this promotion customers must:
- activate or upgrade a subscription on a qualifying tariff plan and have/ activate a VodaPay account in accordance with these terms and conditions;
- activate or upgrade a subscription in conjunction with a device. Sim Only deals are excluded;
- activate or upgrade to a subscription with a contract term of 24 months and/or 36 months.;
- be a natural persons 18 years and older. Any participant under the age of 18 shall present their parent / guardian’s written consent to enter into a contract with Vodacom; and
- use a SIM Card that has completed and satisfied the RICA requirements.
- Qualifying Customers who sign-up / upgrade a subscription on a qualifying tariff plan e.g. Red Business, can receive a reward up to R3000 in their VodaPay wallet from 07 June 2024 to 31 December 2024.
- The customer is required to have the VodaPay App with an account and a wallet created within 40 working days or less or the Reward will be forfeited.
- The customer is required to have either a Lite, Essential or Pro wallet and have completed and satisfied the FICA requirements.
- The registered VodaPay account and upgraded/ activated subscriber number must be the same in order to receive the Reward.
The Reward
- The value of the Reward will be allocated to the customers VodaPay wallet as per the below:
R 1000 in VodaPay Wallet
- Red Business 1,5GB
- Red Business 1,5GB Top-up
- Red Business 6GB
- Red Business 6GB Top-up
R 2000 in VodaPay Wallet
- Red Business 20GB
- Red Business 20GB Top-up
R 3000 in VodaPay Wallet
- Red Business VIP 50GB
- Red Business VIP 100GB
- The Reward will be allocated into the customers VodaPay wallet, 40 days after the start of the contract. If no VodaPay wallet is available as at the end date of the Promotion period, the Reward will be forfeited.
- Customer may, dependent on the type of VodaPay wallet selected by the Customer, be able to withdraw the full amount of the Reward.
- In the event that the customer qualifies for this promotion and the customer is the user of the subscriber number but is not the person responsible for payment of the chargers in relation to that subscriber number then the Reward is allocated to the user of the subscriber number.
- Customers are allowed to upgrade/ sign-up on multiple contracts and will qualify for this promotion provided that the customer activates or upgrades on the qualifying tariff plans.
- There are no additional charges for participating in the Promotion apart from the standard contract costs.
- Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the customer for participating in the Promotion.
- All the information provided or related to this Promotion shall be managed, captured and approved by Vodacom.

Business Internet 5G 30th birthday promotion
Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion (the “Promotion”) where customers are eligible for added value when purchasing selected qualifying deal from 10 July 2024 to 30 September 2024.
All Customers during the term of the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
Duration
- The Promotion will run from 09h00 on 10 July 2024 to 30 September 2024 23h59 (“Promotional Period”).
- The duration of the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
Added Value
- The first 4000 Customers who meet the qualifying criteria will following activation of the service, receive the first 3 (three) months of the subscription charges at no charge.
- To qualify Customers must, during the Promotional Period:
- be a new Customer who signs a Business Internet 5G contract for a a duration of 24 months or 30 months or upgrade a existing contract to a Business Internet 5G contract ; and
- Complete or have completed the credit vetting processes by Vodacom and be approved by Vodacom;
- Maintain the Business Internet 5G contract for the full duration of 24 or 36 months;
- Be a natural person 18 years or older (any participant under the age of 18 shall present their parent / guardian’s written consent to enter into a contract with Vodacom);
- Use SIM cards that have been RICA registered (each owner of a SIM card(s) is responsible to comply with South African law by RICA registering their SIM cards).
- reside in South Africa and be in possession of a valid South African identity document or permanent residence permit or temporary residence permit valid for a period exceeding 3 (three) months for the Republic of South Africa and valid at the end date.
- A customer that cancels the Business Internet 5G order prior to the expiry of the 24- or 36-month period will forfeit the three (3) months free subscription and be liable to pay Vodacom for the 3 months upon receipt of invoice from Vodacom.
- Customers are allowed to upgrade/ sign-up on multiple contracts.
- There are no additional charges for participating in the Promotion apart from the standard contract costs.
- Vodacom shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the customer for participating in the Promotion.
Kwika 30th birthday Promotion
Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd (“VPS”) is running the “Kwika 30th Birthday Promotion” (the “Promotion") where the Qualifying Merchants will pay zero Transaction Fees for 6 months under the Merchant Agreement, on the Terms and Conditions below (“Reward”).
All participants during the term of the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
Duration
- The Promotion will commence on the 1 July 2024 9H00, and it will run until the 30 September 2024 23H59 (the “Promotion Period”).
- The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of VPS.
- VPS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and where such change is material, VPS shall provide its customers and/or participants with reasonable prior written notice before implementing any such change.
Eligibility
- To qualify to participate in the Promotion: a. You must be a registered business, as registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (“CIPC”);
- During the Promotion Period, the registered business is: (i) a new VPS merchant (and does not have an existing Merchant Agreement with VPS); (ii) signs a new Merchant Agreement; (iii) successfully completes the Merchant onboarding process; (iv) is formally approved as a Merchant to process transactions (“Activation Date”); and (v) has been active as a VPS merchant for a minimum of 7 Business Days from the Activation Date ;
- he registered business signs up for, or upgrades its existing mobile voice and data subscription to any Vodacom Red Business postpaid contract subscription instore during the Promotion Period; and
- during the Promotion Period, includes the monthly Kwika instalment amount as an Add On to the Vodacom Red Business contract subscription.
Qualifying Merchants
- Employees, directors and agents of VPS and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of this Promotion are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
Reward
- Qualifying Merchants will receive the following Reward, which will be applicable after 7 Business Days from Activation Date (“Reward Activation Date”):
- for a period of 6 months from the Reward Activation Date (“Reward Period”) be charged zero Transactions Fees (as defined in the Merchant Agreement) for all transactions processed on the Kwika Device up to a maximum amount of R100,000.00 (“Maximum Amount”) or until the expiry of the Reward Period, whichever comes first;
- Transactions conducted within the first seven (7) Business Days from the Activation Date will incur charges at the normal rate applicable to the relevant Merchant as per the Merchant Agreement (“Merchant Rate”).
- Upon expiry of the Reward Period, or upon reaching the Maximum Amount, whichever is earliest, VPS will restore the rate to the normal Merchant Rate.
- In the event that the Transaction Fees are billed to the Merchant after the Reward Activation Date, VPS will refund the Merchant such Transaction Fees, within 28 Business Days from the Reward Activation Date.
Business term advance 30th birthday promotion
Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) is running the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion where customers are eligible for added value when purchasing selected qualifying deals and propositions from 1 August 2024 9H00 to 31 December 2024 23H59.
- These terms and conditions shall govern your participation in the Promotion.
Duration
- The duration of the Vodacom Business “30th Birthday” Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of Vodacom.
- This offer will be valid from 1 August 2024 09H00 to 31 December 2024 23H59 (‘Promotion Period’).
Eligibility & Participation
- Qualifying customers who for the first time take up a Business Term Advance loan to the value of R150 000 or more will receive R7500 added value to the loan amount, three (3) months free of Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Norton Mobile Security bundle whereafter the customer will pay the applicable monthly fees.
- In order for the customer to qualify for the added value the customer must be a first-time applicant of Business Term Advance and apply within the Promotion Period.
- The added R7500 will not be charged interest on the loan.
- The added value will be allocated to the qualifying customer within 30 business days.
- The three (3) months free Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Norton Mobile Security bundle will be provisioned to qualifying customer in 30 working days.
- The three (3) months free Microsoft 365 Business Basic and Norton Mobile Security bundle is valid from date of provisioning till three (3) months after.
- To activate the free Microsoft Office 365 bundle customers will receive 2 emails, one link to activate their credentials to a self-service portal, 1 to login to their Microsoft portal. There is no voucher to activate these licenses, once the customer agrees and an order is placed, these are activated automatically.
- To activate Norton Mobile Security license, customers will receive an email with a link/activation key. The customer will agree to the customer agreement and activate the key, after creating a Norton account on the Norton Mobile Security Application, which customers will have to install on their mobile device.
- Voucher codes will only be issued during working days and working hours (this excludes public holidays and weekends).

Personal information
- User data collected via the Promotion will not be used for any other purpose than for execution of the Promotion.
- Vodacom respects the right to privacy and takes the protection of personal information seriously. Vodacom will only use personal information for the purposes of the Promotion as stated in these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with Vodacom’s Privacy Policy available on, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy
General
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
- In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, Vodacom’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any value add nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
- If Vodacom is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Promotion or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Promotion being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all customers hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsors.
- All information relating to the Promotion which is published on any marketing material will form part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
- The Promotion is also subject to, and must be read in conjunction with, Vodacom’s existing terms and conditions applicable to its website and mobile site respectively.
- Vodacom may refuse to issue the Reward if these terms and conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices.
- Vodacom and/or any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming a Reward.
- Vodacom, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any Reward nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than Vodacom itself.
