Business Term Advance Campaign

Terms and Conditions

Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd (“VPS”) is running the campaign ("the Promotion") where all customers that successfully receive a disbursement of a Vodalend Fixed Term Funding or Cash Flow Funding product during the Term (“Eligible Participant”), stand a chance to win their share of R100,000 (One Hundred Thousand rands) in fuel vouchers from BP (the “Voucher”), which will need to be redeemed within three (3) years of receiving the voucher.

All participants during the term of the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

General

  1. The Promotion will start on  1/07/2026, and it will run until  31/07/2026 (the “Term”).
  2. The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of VPS.
  3. VPS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, and where such change is material, VPS shall provide its customers with reasonable prior written notice before implementing any such change.

Eligibility

  1. All customers that successfully receive a disbursement of a Fixed Term Funding or Cash Flow Funding product during the Term, will stand a chance to win their share of R100,000.00 in fuel vouchers from BP.
  2. The Promotion is open to new and existing/previous Vodalend Fixed Term Funding or Cash Flow Funding product customers that successfully take out a Vodalend Fixed Term Funding or Cash Flow Funding product during the Term (“Successful Participants”)
  3. VPS shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the Successful Participants for participating in the Promotion or in claiming any incentive, where applicable.
  4. Employees, directors and agents of VPS and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates, and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of this Promotion are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

Reward

  1. 2 Separate categories of the winners will be selected to receive the following rewards:
  2. 10 new customers that meet the eligibility requirements will each receive Vouchers up to the value of R5,000; and
  3. 10 existing customers that meet the eligibility requirements will each receive Vouchers up to the value of R5,000.
  4. The winners will be selected after the Promotion ends, from entries that meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions in the form of a random draw and will be announced within 15 days after the Promotion ends.
  5. Successful Participants will need to present the requisite proof as required by VPS upon receiving the voucher to validate the participants’ entry to the Promotion.
  6. Winners will be contacted during normal working hours, between 08:00 and 17:00 on business days.
  7. The Voucher will be sent to the Successful Participant’s email address, as nominated in the Loan Agreement between the Successful Participant and the funding partner, within 20 calendar days from the Promotion end date.
  8. Each Successful Participant is eligible to one entry during the Term.
  9. The Voucher will be in the form of an electronic Voucher that will be issued to you via SMS and/or the Vodapay App. Any Voucher you receive  will be subject to the Voucher terms and conditions that will be set out in the Voucher presented to you electronically.
  10. VPS or its duly authorized agents will use reasonable efforts to contact the winners via phone call or email on the contact details provided by the participant when registering to participate in the Promotion.
  11. The claim for the Voucher will be subject to security and validation, and VPS reserves the right to withhold the incentive until it is satisfied that the claim by winners is valid.
  12. Notwithstanding the fact that the Voucher vests in the winner immediately upon the determination of the results, in the event that the required documentation from winners has not been received at the agreed cut-off date communicated to the winners, or no effort is made on the part of any of the winners to make special arrangements to meet the deadline set by VPS, such Voucher will be forfeited. VPS then reserves the right to award the Voucher to the other Successful Participants.

Personal Information

  1. VPS respects the right to privacy and takes the protection of your personal information seriously. VPS will only use your personal information for the purposes of the Promotion as stated in these Terms and Conditions.
  2. VPS shall request the Successful Participants consent in writing to their image and/or likeness being used and published by VPS in connection with the Promotion for a period of 12 (twelve) months after they have been announced as successful. The Successful Participants may decline the use of their image and/or likeness by VPS.

General

  1. In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions, VPS’s decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. VPS may refuse to award an incentive if any of entry procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. VPS is entitled, at its entire discretion, to reject any participant for any reason and will not be obliged to notify participants that they are rejected.
  3. VPS is not liable for any technical failures affecting participation and / or the incentive.
  4. VPS, its directors, employees, agents, and distributors, are not responsible for any misrepresentation (whether written or verbal) in respect of any reward nor in respect of any warranties, guarantees or undertakings given by any person other than VPS.
  5. If VPS is required by law to alter or cancel any aspect of the Promotion or to terminate it as a result of changes in legislation, or for any reason whatsoever, it will have the right to terminate the Promotion being offered, with immediate effect and without notice. In such event all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against VPS and its associated companies, agents, contractors and/or sponsor.
  6. Neither VPS nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors, and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming the Reward or after claiming the Reward.
  7. In addition, neither VPS nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or the reward process of the Promotion.

VodaPay Max Promotion

Vodacom Payment Services (Pty) Ltd (“VPS”) is running the “ VodaPay Max Promotion” ("the Promotion") where the qualifying Merchant will receive a percentage of the Device Purchase Price back  (“Reward”).

All participants during the term of the Promotion agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

  1. The Promotion will commence on 17 July 2025 and it will run until  31 March 2026 (the “Promotion Period”).
  2. The duration of the Promotion may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of VPS.
  3. VPS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and where such change is material, VPS shall provide its customers and/or participants with reasonable prior written notice before implementing any such change.

Eligibility

  1. To qualify to participate in the Promotion:
    • During the Promotion Period, the merchant must:
      • be a new VPS merchant (and must not have an existing Merchant Agreement with VPS); 
      • sign a new Merchant Agreement with VPS; 
      • successfully completes the Merchant onboarding process; 
      • purchase a VodaPay Max Device (“Device”) from VPS at the then current purchase price (the “Purchase Price”); 
        ensure the Device is activated to process transactions (“Activation Date”); and
      • For a period of 3 consecutive months from Activation Date, actively trade making use of the Device (“Trading Period”);
      • referred to as “Qualifying Merchants”.
  2. Employees, directors and agents of VPS and all participating stores, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management, or marketing of this Promotion are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
     

Reward

  1. Qualifying Merchants will, after the Trading Period, receive a percentage of the Purchase Price back  as a Reward, which will be calculated as follows: 

    1. The lowest of the total monthly transaction value of the Qualifying Merchant in a calendar month during the Trading Period will be used and the percentage paid back will be determined in accordance with the table below:

    2. Transaction value calculation begins on the 1st of the month. If a Device is activated mid-month, the calculation will start from the 1st of the following month.
    3. The Reward will be paid back into the bank account nominated by the Merchant at onboarding. 
    4. Multiple entries are not allowed.
    5. The claim for the Reward will be subject to security and validation, and VPS reserves the right to withhold the Reward until it is satisfied that the claim is valid.
    6. All Devices will be insured for a period of 12 months from Activation Date, as per the insurance policy.

       

Personal Information

  1. VPS respects the right to privacy and takes the protection of your personal information seriously. VPS will only use your personal information for the purposes of the Promotion as stated in these terms and conditions and in accordance with Privacy Policy available on, https://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy/payment-services
  2. You hereby consent to VPS share your personal information with third parties identified by Vodacom from time to time solely for the purpose of execution of the Promotion.
     

General

  8. In addition, neither VPS nor its agents shall be responsible for any loss or misdirected entries, including entries that were not received due to any failure of hardware, software, or other computer or technical systems affecting participating and/or the Reward process of the Promotion.
  9. All information relating to the Promotion which is published on any marketing material will form part of these terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict between such marketing material and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  10. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit, or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participant or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA).

Home Internet Price Increase FAQ’s

1. Why is there a price increase?

To keep you – and millions of South Africans – connected to the people and moments that matter most is at the heart of who we are. And to help achieve this, we continuously invest in our network to give you a fast, smooth, and reliable experience.

Vodacom SA plans to invest around R12.0 billion of capital expenditure in the current financial year to further enhance customer experience.  This highlights Vodacom’s ongoing commitment to network upgrades, expanding 5G coverage, and delivering advanced digital services to maintain world-class standards on South Africa’s Champion Network.

To support these improvements, there will be an annual price update from 1 February 2026. We’ve kept this as low as possible, with subscription changes ranging between 5%* to 9%.*

 

2. When will the annual price increase come into effect?

From 1 February 2026.

3. Will the annual price increase be applied to all plans?

The following postpaid contract plans: RED Integrated, RED Flexi, RED VIP, Home Internet (FWA), Mobile Broadband (SIM-Only data), and Legacy plans will be impacted by the price increase.

4. How do I know what price plan I am on?

Open the VodaPay app and then follow this pathway: View all > My account > Account details > Manage my number

6. Will this change my device financing?

No. We’ve absorbed additional costs to keep device fees, SMS and MMS rates and out-of-bundle data rates unchanged.

7. Are you allowed to change the price?

Vodacom reserves the right to update their terms and conditions as long as customers are made aware of any changes at least 20 working days beforehand. This also doesn’t breach Consumer Protection Act  as the increase is in line with inflation.

8. What if I only just signed my contract?

You’ve joined us during our annual price increase period, however we do understand your cost pressures. That’s why all new and upgrading customers will be given a 2 (two) months grace period.  Please see grace period timelines below.

9. Does the price increase apply to family deals with three lines?

Yes, if the lines are chargeable then price increase will apply.

10. Does the price increase apply to 2025 Black Friday promotions?

Black Friday deals and promotions have been granted a 2-month grace period.  Their increase will be effective 01 March 2026.

11. Does the price increase apply if I’m no longer under contract and on a month-to-month basis?

Yes, it applies to all postpaid contract customers (in-contract and out-of-contract). Those out of contract may experience higher costs because of promotional add-ons and/or discounts falling away at the end of the contract term.

12. I didn’t get any notification of this update?

Vodacom will send out communication to existing customers both a combined email (inclusive of all plans) and an SMS between Mon, 08 - Tue 10 December 2025. Please see below table when price increase will impact customers who sign up or upgrade from 01 November 2025.
